The first edition of Decathlon Premier Padel in Rotterdam Ahoy has crowned its winners. In the women's event, Spanish duo Sanchez Fallada and Josemaria Martin secured victory through their powerful play against compatriot Ortega Gallego and Portugal's Araujo. In the men, Spanish champion Coello and Argentine talent Tapia emerged victorious against the experienced duo of Chingotto of Argentina and Galan of Spain.

The main tournament, which took place in September, kicked off after two days of qualifications, also held in Rotterdam Ahoy. With representatives from the global top 50, the P1 tournament became a real crowd puller. Following the Majors - the highest class within Premier Padel - the P1 tournament is the second level in the international competition. Rotterdam Ahoy attracted more than 33,000 visitors during this debut tournament, immediately establishing the event in the Top 5 of annual indoor sports events.

The final matches did not disappoint: the men's duo of Coello and Tapia dominated their opponents with a convincing 6-2, 6-2 victory. The women's match was also decided in two sets; Fallada and Martin defeated Ortega and Araujo 6-4, 6-4. Both matches let the audience enjoy high quality padel play and proved that the international padel sport can also count on great interest in the Netherlands.
