John van Lottum has been appointed tournament director of Premier Padel Rotterdam with immediate effect. In this role he will be responsible for all padel activities ; besides organizing the annual tournament, he will also focus on realizing the B2B and B2C ambitions, which should lead to structural Premier Padel activities throughout the year.

John will be the face and point of contact for all initiatives under the banner of organizer Tribe Company. He will keep partners and stakeholders regularly updated on the latest developments. He is also the liaison for Premier Padel International, the FIP, KNLTB and players in order to keep monitoring international padel developments. In addition, he manages the team dedicated to production, marketing, brand partnerships and back office. His extensive experience is of great value here.

After his career as a professional tennis player, John has proven himself as an entrepreneur in recent years, including as co-owner of creative partnership agency Deux Agency and padel club Plaza Padel.

John van Lottum: "With great enthusiasm and drive I decided to accept the role of tournament director in addition to my work at Plaza Padel. After my previous experiences at WPT Amsterdam and in combination with the expertise of Tribe, we are joining hands with the common goal to raise padel to a higher level in both top and grassroots sports in the Netherlands."

Fatima Moreira de Melo and Rafael van der Vaart will also remain associated with Decathlon Premier Padel Rotterdam in their roles as ambassadors. Rotterdam Ahoy will host the second edition of Decathlon Premier Padel Rotterdam from September 28 to October 5, 2025. The absolute world top, in both men's and women's padel, has once again confirmed its arrival in the port city.
